I had a very fun time at camp . It was a very awesome experience for me. We asked God to come into our lives and a lot of people got saved. We prayed for people who were sick, being abused, sinners.

I hope to keep this brief. I just wanted to say praise God for a weekend I and my son will never forget. I thanked God for you and all the leaders at CCOB for your commitment to bring Christ to all. I can't thank you enough for introducing Christ to Daniel. He is reading his bible as I type. I almost started to cry when I saw how he bonded with the guys in the church. He now has many more brothers. I am so grateful for the new baby Christian in my house today, who by the way is quoting scripture and is on fire for the Lord. God has raised up such wonderful fellowship right here in my own home. I love my church, the body of Christ. God bless you for all you do!
The comments from students about this retreat on your website www.igniteafire.com are amazing!

The staff at RMC was awesome. They were very friendly and interacted great with our students. They answered all of our questions and worked with us in all aspects of the weekend. Our leaders were very impressed with the staff and facilities of RMC and really had a great time. We were truly "refreshed". The price for RMC was reasonable as well and you really do get your bang for your buck. The logde room was amazing and very well maintained. All of the bunk houses were in great condition as well. Thank you RMC staff for allowing our group to have a great retreat this past weekend. We will definetly be back in the future.

We were happy with the cost to value ratio for rooms and 3 meals - good value. We actually jumped in with another group here on a dodgeball game - great fun!

Low Ropes course was a great team building activity. It used communication, planning and teamwork and it brought the group together in unity.

Our retreat went even better than expected! The zip line was greatly appreciated, and the prime rib dinner was excellent. We greatly value RMC.

Everything was great. The food was outstanding, and the room accommodations were excellent. All the camp members were professional and courteous. We booked our 2008 Men's Retreat before we left the camp, and are looking forward to the LTCC 2008 Men's Retreat. Keep up the good work.

The weekend was God ordained and I don't say that lightly from the speakers to the worship leaders and the students hungry for more of our Father. We have been going to Refreshing Mountain for the several years. Our students talk about the weekend throughout the entire year it has such an impact in their lives. I believe there is an anointing on the gym by the ball field....On a different note, Justin is a pleasure to work with. The facilities were always clean and the space is conducive to large groups.

Our stay at the Camp was both refreshing and very enjoyable. The people are so friendly and caring. the food is very good. The whole weekend was just so delightful and enjoyable, I did not receive any complaints from my group and believe me if there was something wrong I would have heard about it. But all responses were compliments. We are planning to make this our retreat site every year.

We had a great experience. We want all of our retreats to continue here at Refreshing Mountain. Justin & staff are warm, kind, and very helpful in every way. The community zip line and wall climbing was great.

Refreshing Mountain Camp exceeded our expectations. I was thoroughly prepared due to all the planning on the part of the RMC staff. The high ropes were unbelievable and impacted everyone. The low ropes were great for team building. Everyone enjoyed themselves!

For the last number of years we have been involved in planning our church's Kingdom Kids Summer Camp. We started out by having our children's camp at a local picnic grove, where we had to set up our own tents, did our own cooking, and transported our children to a nearby neighbors pool.
We were very thankful when the opportunity to utilize the facilities at Refreshing Mountain Camp opened up to us. It was a joy to make the switch to a beautiful camp setting.
We have thoroughly enjoyed the facilities that are well maintained and improved each year, and the great working relationship which we have had with the staff at RMC. They have helped us to best fit the needs of our group in many ways. We have appreciated the wide variety of activities that are available for us to choose-from the pool to a hayride, to the ropes course and much more. We have also enjoyed the delicious food buffet that is offered and also the opportunity to select our own menus.
The children at our Kids Camp have been blessed, encouraged, and refreshed in the peaceful setting at Refreshing Moutain Camp each time they have been there. We look forward to our summer retreat once again in 2008.

Our retreat went as expected, thanks to much time spent planning with the staff. I particuarly enjoyed the low ropes course. The input and leadership of your staff members were such a blessing.

Our groups really enjoyed the activities provided by our camp leaders. Mr. B [Activities Director] tied in the work to accomplish the task/activity with what we do in the classroom with our students and how it is necessary to work as a team. It was a great day and one everyone will remember.

I am pleased to recommend Refreshing Mountain Camp as a site for any group planning a camp gathering. I have been involved in planning youth summer camps for the New Jersey District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod for 15 years. For the last three years we have held our camp at Refreshing Mountain Camp. We are pleased with the location, facilities, and staff support, and we look forward to returning for our summer camp in 2008.
Although the camp provides many of the amentities of modern day life, we enjoy the strong outdoor "feel" it furnishes, nestled in the side of a small mountain with lots of trees. Further, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and provide for lots of programming possibilities. Each year we return, we enjoy the upgrades that are continually made to the camp. We appreciate the ease with which we can set up our audio equipment. The ball fields are great for out all-camp games. The air-conditioned gyms and bunk areas are a blessing when the temperatures soar in the summer. The two-pool complex for swimming with a game room nearby is a favorite of our campers.
The staff is the finest we have worked with: competent, friendly, and helpful. We could not offer the outdoor experiences of the High Ropes courses without the trained staff at the camp. The meals are delicious. Whatever we need—help with campfires, sports equipment for games, advice about how to implement an activity—they are there to help us make summer camp a great experience for our campers.
We were pleasantly surprised at the high level of support we received the first year we came to Refreshing Mountain Camp, and we enjoy knowing it will be there each year that we return.

I have been involved in Junior HIgh Ministry for the past 12 years. During that time I have had the privilege of planning over 25 retreats, in different seasons of the year, for sizes varying from 50 to 400 people. I have also had the privilege of speaking at youth retreats and camps in the Northeast, New England, Southwest and West coast regions of the United States. Our student ministries at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia have used a number of different retreat centers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Maryland, but for the past 4 years, our CrossWalk junior high ministry has found Refreshing Mountain Camp to be our retreat center of choice.
Whether we've planned a retreat during winter, spring, or summer, there are some wonderful constants at RMC that have kept us coming back. The management has been accessible, courteous, concerned and wonderfully helpful in pre-retreat planning, supporting my staff during the actual retreat, and genuinely caring about the spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being of our students who come to RMC for our retreats.
Something that has impressed me is the attitude of continuous improvement that I have observed at RMC. Whether this is regarding the imporvement of facilities, food service, or activities, every time I return, some facet of the camp is better than the last time I was there. I have been blessed to develop a relationship with the staff that is not just business, but as fellow-workers in the ministry of Christ.
The students and staff of CrossWalk Junior High have been blessed, edified, encouraged, and genuinely refreshed each and every time we have spent time at Refreshing Mountain Camp. We look forward to our winter retreat in February 2008 and believe it will be an incredible fruitful weekend of fun, fellowship, and the glory of Jesus Christ being manifested to each in attendance.

When I first moved to Philadelphia to attend seminary 10 years ago I immediately became involved in the ministry to college students in young adults in my local church. One of the most significant memories I have from those early days in the church was a retreat we took to Refreshing Mountain Camp. I was only beginning to get to know people my age, but the Lord used that weekend to create friendships with some of my closest friends today (and the word “refreshing” was the reason why). I was working full-time, taking classes in seminary, and basically had no spare time for meaningful relationships. After being persuaded to go on the retreat, I quickly realized that the solitude of RMC provided an atmosphere to slow down and really think about what is important in my life. The Lord took me away from my very busy normal routines to the quiet atmosphere of RMC in order to teach me lessons that otherwise I would not have learned. And more than anything else, the Lord used my first time at RMC to teach me that in order to really grow in the grace of Christ I desperately need the people of Christ. I continued to attend retreats at RMC with our church for the next couple of years, and then I was hired to be the pastor of the very group I had been involved with. And now for the past 7 years I have been the one coordinating retreats for college students and young adults, retreats just like the ones that became so important in my walk with the Lord. And for the past 7 years we have continued to return to RMC. In fact, we have gotten to the place that people will often ask us when our next retreat to RMC is, not where are we going on our next retreat. RMC has become like a home away from home for many; it has become a place that we look forward to returning to just like one longs to be home for Christmas. We have a wonderful relationship with the staff that always treats us more like family than they do mere campers. The staff acts professionally and yet also personally. There has never been a time when we didn’t’ feel free to make changes or ask questions; they are so patient, flexible, and Christ-like to those whom they serve. Although there are certainly other retreat centers close (and even closer) by, the affordability of cost, the quality of the food and facilities, the variety of activities, and the loving servants who work there keep us joyfully coming back. I can’t think of better retreat experiences than the ones I’ve had at RMC.

This has been the first time I was involved in the planning of Our Church’s Alpha group’s Holy Spirit weekend, but the second time I was at Refreshing Mountain Camp. The last time I was a participant of the Alpha course and the first time I had ever been on a retreat or on anything like this. This also was when I was filled with the Holy Spirit and began my walk with our Lord Jesus Christ. Our church has used a few different retreat centers over the past years, but for the past 2 years, we have found Refreshing Mountain Camp to be well “refreshing” to say the least. One of the Elders of our Church had asked me why we chose Refreshing Mountain Camp and my answer was easy, great location, great facilities and Staff, and we always have had a great experience.
Being the first time as the retreat planner, the staff at RMC made it so easy for me to accomplish the goals I had for the retreat. Whether it is in dealing with the “pre-retreat details” like the contract, insurance, tax exemption, schedule, etc, the RMC staff are easily accessible anytime to answer questions, meet needs, give input and help with the other details of the event.
I have been impressed with the manner in which the facilities are maintained. This gives me the assurance that RMC is a safe place to take our group year after year. The facilities are clean, the food is good, and the setting is in all perfect. All of these things combine to make a truly “refreshing” experience each time we attend.

I have been involved in the planning of youth retreats for the past 25 years. Our conference had a long standing tradition of using a camp sponsored by our churches, but we outgrew that facility. Three years ago we made the difficult choice to change locations after learning about Refreshing Mountain Camp. We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to make the change due mainly to the most gracious manner we have been hosted by Refreshing Mountain Camp.
The staff at RMC have been wonderful to work with to accomplish the goals our planning committee has for each retreat. Whether it is in dealing with the “pre-retreat details” like the contract, insurance, tax exemption, schedule, etc, or in planning to use optional activities like the Zip-line or the pool, the RMC staff are easily accessible to answer questions, meet needs, give input and help with the other details of the event.
Our youth leaders and youth have been impressed with the manner in which the facilities are continually improved and maintained. The yearly evaluation of the facility by our group has been outstanding! This gives me the assurance that RMC is a safe & fun place to take our youth year after year. The facilities are clean, the food is good, and the setting is beautiful. All of these things combine to make a truly “refreshing” experience each time we attend.
